1. Who founded the site? What interest does he or she have in trains?
The site was created by Jody Weissler. My fascination with trains
begain with my Brio train set as a young child, my electric train set in
my elementary years, and more importantly seeing real trains at places
such a LA’s Travel Town and Union Station. Another grand interest was
riding trains of all sorts whether it was a “real” Amtrak train or a theme
park train at Knott’s, Disneyland, or Magic Mountain.

2. Why do you list monorial and
funicular content on your website?
While these are not traditional trains,
many of the same concepts apply.
Also, train enthusiasts are often
interested in monorails and funiculars.
